+Text: The gang drains the Temple of Shoom and hears a heavy thud and a thundering croak upstairs which turns out to be a behemoth gargantuan nakudama acolyte of Nashara who revealed that he was calling midwives to the temple and eating their eggs / feeding their eggs to Nashara. So obviously he had to die. The battletoads went ham, Leon climbing up on top and wailing on him and Anura wailing on his hindquarters. Anura kept trying to climb up on top too, but kept slipping off. Tooba wrestled the frog's giant tongue and stabbed at it. At one point Leon got brainfog and started attacking Anura, but Anura slapped it out of him. Mio kept trying to snipe the frog at got tongue grabbed and pulled up to the frog for a big bite which earned the beast a couple magic missiles in the mouth, and then Anura got to move her out of the way with a puff of wind. Mio continued trying to snipe from the safety of the stairwell and missed every shot until, sobbing with frustration, she finally landed a jolt which ended up being the killing blow!

++ We healed up and camped out, and checked out the bottom floor of the ziggurat and found the fissure which seems to contain a Void. Unsure whether it's Nashara or the corruption, or what. Toola spent some time sealing off the bottom floor so nobody can accidentally wander in there and start the cataclysm. And then we prepared to head to the big city for some resources and backup.

Connections: Anura dreamed of great spiral eyes inside a sunken ziggurat. Avonia received a vision and built a sculpture of a great snake coiled around a ziggurat reaching for the sky. An acoylte of the Pearl of Rongol received a vision of our approach, and so the town was able to prepare for our arrival.
