- get some vases
- get some flowers
- the vases with water
- the flowers
- make the flowers pretty (easy: flowers are already pretty)
- pluck off leaves that are in the water so they don't brown
- pluck off some more leaves so the plant sends energy to the flower not the leaves
- trim ~1" off the stem at a 45 degree angle to maximize surface area so it can drink good
- alcohol, acid, and sugar will keep the flowers fresh longer (add kombucha?)
