Hilbish is an interactive Unix-like shell written in Go, with the config
and other code written in Lua.
2021-04-24 22:42:39 +00:00
It is sort of in a stable state currently, usable as a daily shell,
but there may still be breaking changes in Lua modules.

# Installation
2021-03-20 05:45:17 +00:00
**NOTE:** Hilbish is currently only officially supported and tested on Linux
2021-05-20 23:11:07 +00:00

### Prebuilt binaries
Binaries are provided for the latest commit.
**Note that these use Hilbiline, not readline, and may be missing functionality
(moving the cursor, proper unicode support and backspace working properly)**

Alternatively, if you use Arch Linux, you can compile Hilbish with an **(unofficial)** AUR package:
2021-03-23 13:56:41 +00:00
```sh
2021-04-24 22:42:39 +00:00
yay -S hilbish
2021-03-23 13:56:41 +00:00
```
2021-05-03 10:20:52 +00:00
If you want the latest and greatest, you can install and compile from latest git commit:
2021-04-08 14:29:48 +00:00
```sh
2021-04-24 22:42:39 +00:00
yay -S hilbish-git
2021-04-08 14:29:48 +00:00
```
