• get some vases
• get some flowers
• the vases with water
• the flowers
• make the flowers pretty (easy: flowers are already pretty)
• pluck off leaves that are in the water so they don't brown
• pluck off some more leaves so the plant sends energy to the flower not the leaves
• trim ~1" off the stem at a 45 degree angle to maximize surface area so it can drink good
• alcohol, acid, and sugar will keep the flowers fresh longer (add kombucha?)
